Do you feel like something is just not normal about your life and that everything that happens is always happening for the wrong reasons?
May be you have been out of school for a very long time and still can’t find a job or something to do, so that you can start earning money for your upkeeps and that of your loved ones.
Or you probably lost your job for some time now and everything you have done to get a new job has been with disappointments. It is not as if you didn’t search for a job, but all efforts to get one has proved abortive.
You could also be like my friend whose case also made me almost conclude that there are indisputable spiritual reasons things are this worst. His case is as bad as him getting so excited that all his problems have come to an end, only for the whole thing to turn against him.
These are just a few of the scenarios I can mention.
The fact, is that there are hundreds of such bad cases affecting you or someone else every day.
Well, if you are in any of these categories, I am certain you are not alone on this.
A few years ago, after losing all I had and life became really difficult for me, I began to face more troubles than necessary.
It was more like trouble upon troubles.
And sincerely, I was quick to concluding it was spiritual especially because when I looked at the rates at which problems were popping up, it didn’t need a a prophet to tell me that I was right in the middle of a war. In fact, to simply put it, I was at the battle front.
It was like for every 10 calls I received in a day, at least 6 were unpleasant.
To put it comfortably, I mean “BAD NEWS”
Everyone who came around me had some bad stories to tell me such that, I was constantly being demoralized.
I had the courts knocking on my doors for one case or another. The police were all over my office and my house. Calls of threats coming in like jingles from my clients. I had no staff on ground anymore, so it was just me, my office and my family.
I had at least 6 cases in court and at least comes up every week for me to attend.
Not just that, I had more people who have had to benefit from me financially or otherwise in the past calling on me to help out for one thing or the other. I just couldn’t help everyone.
With things like that happening, it wasn’t difficult for me to conclude I had a spiritual problem.
My siblings were constantly calling me to ensure I visited one Church or another.
I kept having this challenge with my older siblings because I wouldn’t go to these churches.
It wasn’t for the fact that I don’t believe in the supremacy of God through men of God.
That wasn’t the case.
I just didn’t feel the urge to go.
More devastating news continued to thrill in and broke me even more.
I remember calling one of the pastors and explaining my situations in tears. But it continued even after I had been given instructions to fast and pray for at least 21 days.
At some point too, once I see a call coming in from home, I don’t know how best to describe the feelings. But it wasn’t a good one. Because I had fixed my mind that every calls was a bad news.
Now, please listen to me here.
Do you know that when you become consumed by negative beliefs or assumptions,
everything in your life starts experiencing the physical manifestation of unhappiness?
That was the root cause of my major problem.
Your perception eventually become your reality.
Therefore, changing your mindset can make a huge difference in your life.
A negative mindset tends to cloud your judgment, making it hard to tell if the negative thoughts you are experiencing are outside yourself or inside your psyche.
These 4 Signs Will Determine Whether It’s Time to Change Your Mindset or not, so that you can improve your life..
If you are already experiencing all these bad omens.
It will reveal to you whether your current state of mind needs a change badly or not.
These are very powerful signs you must watch out for today.
1. If You Are Constantly Focusing on Everything That’s Wrong
If you are always fixating your attention on the disappointments and worries in your life, this is a sure indication that your mindset is tainted with negativity.
To begin to change this mindset, take some time to think about those things in your life that you are thankful for because it will help keep the negative thoughts from completely overwhelming your perspective.
2. The Second Sign Is When You Refused To Face The Truth
Complaining about reality won’t change it.
Relentlessly complaining, is ultimately your refusal to acknowledge and accept the truth.
There are things in your life that you just can’t change, and refusing to see the world as it is, results in you no longer being able to tell fact from fiction.
Take action and change those things that you can and accept those that you can’t.
3. The Third Sign Is That You Become Angry When Your Expectations Aren’t Met
Your expectations are a large part of your mindset.
They are what you believe to be necessary and possible.
If you are always angry that the people in your life, or when even you yourself, are not meeting expectations, it means that your expectations were unrealistic, to begin with.
Our expectations are what lay the groundwork for our experiences, and if we have unrealistic expectations, we will never be satisfied with our life.
4. Lastly and of course the 4th Sign Is When You Always See Yourself As A Victim At All Times
Continually seeing yourself as a victim, hinders your ability to change things and build a better life for yourself.
This victim mentality is generally a by-product of our low self-esteem.
The only way to change this mindset is by deciding to reject the victim role and start creating something better for yourself.
Finally, I would like to encourage you here by saying that changing your mindset isn’t easy, but it is one of the most powerful things you can do for yourself.
It is therefore important that you should Learn how to recognize a negative mindset and become empowered to make the changes necessary to become more positive about your life.
Thanks
